I selected ESET when PC magazine described it as a superior security system. As a professional book editor I wanted to protect both myself and my clients from malware.
I particularly like the ability to select specific times when updates are shipped so that they don't coincide with my work hours.
I often recommend ESET and stress its flexibility and value in catching and clearing genuinely dangerous malware threats.
Because my tech knowledge is not extensive, it's important to me to have this solid backup.
Being able to have live chat help would be a great addition -- would help me understand the many tech matters, often elemental ones, that I'm not familiar with,

This is the worst experience I've ever had with a program. It has totally caused havoc on my computer. I paid for it yet it keeps telling me I have the 30 day trial version. It won't work. The worst part is that I can't delete it from my computer. I have tried & tried to uninstall it & nothing works. It won't uninstall. I've even tried to stop it from the start menu & that wouldn't work. I'm stuck with this "thing" that doesn't work and I can't get rid of it! It interferes with everything I do & won't quit being an annoyance. Very user unfriendly. I've tried to get help with "chat", but was cut off by the tech because I took too much time. Whatever you do, don't do this!
